What Type is your hair?

Take a single hair in between your fingers and if you don't feel anything, then you have fine hair. If you can feel the hair, then it's medium. If you feel a strong, thick strand, then you are coarse. If your hair is really dry and brittle you are over processed which is a result of coloring and bleaching your hair too often.

Type 1- Fragile to Fine

All of the products below are listed for Fragile to Fine hair in which the diameter of each individual strand is fine. It does not refer to the actual number of hairs on your scalp. And as each hair has an oil gland attached, fine hair has the tendency to get oily and limp quickly. If you have fine hair, your hair will feel thin and lack natural body and bounce.

Masque's:

  • Deep conditioners are always good for your hair, they hydrate, strengthen and increase shine in your hair. Make sure to deep condition your hair at least once a week.

 

Heat PRotectants

  • Make sure that you are always using a heat protectant before using any type of hot tools on your hair.

Hairsprays and Dry shampoo:

  • Dry shampoo is going to help get you through the days you aren’t washing your hair, it will help make your hair feel fresh and clean.

  • Hairspray is going to help you get that finished look you want all day long.

  • Apply leave-in conditioners or an oil before styling your hair, it will enhance shine and smooth your hair.

  • Make sure to be deep conditioning your hair once a week. After a long week of hot tools, and lots of product your hair needs to get that moisture back.
